This is really annoying me, but did the font change between Visual Studio 2019 and 2022? It seems so much more blocky and almost blurry on my screen.

It did infact change! Visual Studio 2019 used the font "Consolas" where Visual Studio 2022 uses "Cascadia".
If you want to change it back, Go to Tools => Options => Environment => Fonts and Colors, and there you can switch back to Consolas.
